🎃 Pumpkin season is getting closer at Schlosser Farm! 🍂
Our pumpkins are growing beautifully, and harvest is just around the corner. With 18 different varieties, there’s a little bit of autumn magic for everyone—pumpkins in every shape and size, from vibrant orange to soft pink, creamy white, and beautiful blue. Big, small, whimsical, and everything in between.
🍁 Autumn will be in its full splendour at the farm.
We can’t wait to welcome you back for a season filled with pumpkins, crisp autumn air, and all the beauty of fall.

🌽 A Family Tradition We Look Forward To Every Year! 🌽
Every year, family and friends gather together to put down dozens of sweet corn cobs for the winter. It’s a little bit of work, a lot of laughs, and a tradition we wouldn’t want to miss! 💛
This year, we froze 20 dozen to share and enjoy throughout the winter months. 🌽❄️
Of course, every family has their own way of putting up winter corn. Here’s how we do it:
🔥 Blanch the corn for 2–3 minutes — usually outside on a propane burner.
🌽 Cool it down and spread the cobs out on large baking pans.
🔪 Cut off the kernels and place them into zip-top bags.
❄️ Lay the bags flat and freeze.
Then, when we’re craving that taste of summer in the middle of winter, we simply put the frozen corn into a pot with a little water, warm it up, and enjoy! 😋
There’s nothing quite like farm-fresh local sweet corn in the middle of winter. 🌽❤️

There’s something extra special about growing flowers right here on the farm. 🌸🌻
This year, we planted a few extra blooms—not only to brighten our own home and enjoy throughout the summer, but also to bring a little bit of that farm-grown beauty to market with us.
From planting the seeds and watching them grow to picking each beautiful bloom, it’s been such a joy to add flowers to what we grow here at Schlosser Farm. We love being able to share a little piece of the farm with you, whether it’s something fresh for your table or a beautiful bouquet to brighten your day.
