❄️⛸️ NORTHERN LIGHTS SKATING TRAIL UPDATE!!!❄️⛸️

As we near spring with unpredictable weather conditions ☔️ ☀️ ❄️, announcements for the opening or closure of our ice skate trail will continue on our website.

***TIP*** If the weather forecast calls for weather warmer than 0C, you can expect us (and all Ontario skate trails) to be closed as skaters will ruin the soft ice which will lessen the experience.

That said, we will be open for skating this Saturday night. Sunday (day) and Sunday night and Monday (day) for skating. The rest of the week appears to be too warm (for now) so check back with us.

This may be some of the last days for skating on the trail so come out and enjoy while you can! 😊 ❄️⛸️❤️

⛸️❄️ Northern Lights Skate Trail Update!❄️⛸️

Unfortunately the next 36 hours is calling for 25 cm of snow so we are cancelling today, tonight (Friday), tomorrow and tomorrow night (Saturday) ice skate. We have to cancel Sunday as well as our team has to spend the day digging the rink and trail out from this snowstorm. 🪏😅 Check our skate trail calendar here for updates before you book: https://pottersettlementwines.ca/skating-trail/

On a positive note THANK YOU to the, quite literally, HUNDREDS of guests who travelled toPotter Settlement Artisan Wines Inc., Municipality of Tweed and Hastings County EcD (some families as far away as Michigan, New York & Ohio!) who stayed at our local AirBnB’s, ate at our local restaurants, shopped at our local stores and enjoyed our fine wines and skate trail experience! 😊🍷🥇

Folks asked - so we decided to open the skate trail tonight for Family Day weekend! Still spots available for today and the night skate tonight!
