People ask us why we don’t put birth weights in our bull catalog. It’s because we don’t know, and we won’t guess.

These calves are born untouched, out on pasture, and that’s the only way to have it. They hit the ground, get up, and nurse on their own while their mothers do what they’ve been bred to do for generations.

Good udders and good mamas matter. Strong maternal instincts, easy calving, and cows that take care of business without assistance are the foundation of our program.

We aren’t in the bull business—we’re in the cow business, and the bulls just come naturally.

Co-Parenting at its best!! How many babies do you see relaxing with two mammas while the other mommas are filling their bellies?

These are some of our summer/fall calves out of LDVF 2G. We had a generational drought here this summer and an abnormally cold winter here and I am very proud of how our cows have handled raising their calves.
All these calves are born untouched on pasture.

We invite you to attend next Saturday's Pure Production Sale at Hoards Station Sale Barn . 1pm. or online dlms.ca. Half and full brothers to these calves, and others just like them, will sell. Maternal and Performance Traits, in a easy calving package. Come to the sale and enjoy a hot beef lunch on us. Thanks.
