Meeting PEI’s Growing Demand for Bioscience Talent With demand for skilled biomanufacturing talent at an all-time high, CASTL is expanding its PEI Bioscience Reskilling Program—now entering its fourth year of delivery—with the launch of its tenth and eleventh cohorts. Thanks to the continued support of the Prince Edward Island Government Department of Workforce, Advanced Learning and Population, the program has already helped more than 100 Islanders launch meaningful careers in the province’s thriving bioscience industry.
The 10-week program offers:
✅ Industry-informed curriculum covering safety, biomanufacturing, GMP, instrumentation, and lab skills
✅ Hands-on training at CASTL’s state-of-the-art Charlottetown facility
✅ On-the-job training with local employers
✅ Strong hiring outcomes — with 70% of recent graduates receiving job offers within one month
