Itā€™s been a week since our baby Maple made her long awaited entrance. 2.5 weeks of alarms on the hour every hour to check cameras, taking photos of udders and back ends, comparing photosā€¦ sending unsolicited photos to unsuspecting equine friends asking opinions. Finally! Tuesday last Tuesday night we were locking animals up and I saw Waffles udder and was like yup tonightā€™s the night. Checked the camera at 11pm and nothing. Checked at 12am and bam, she was on her way out. I threw on clothes, no time to peeā€¦ ran outside. And the rest was history. Itā€™s been a week now. She gets adorable baby zoomies, she somehow looks like a carbon copy of Coco.. but nope she definitely came out of Waffles. lol I was there. And of course her name choiceā€¦. If you didnā€™t know the donkeys names all coordinate. This sweet baby will be looking for her forever home in a couple months and donā€™t you worry she will be the smartest baby donkey you ever did see.

This little girl wants to play and run but her mama says ā€œno maā€™amā€ and wouldnā€™t let her go anywhere lol. Soon she will be like you guys take her so I can eat in peace. šŸ¤© donā€™t mind if I do!
