One of the most popular questions we had at the Uxbridge Garden Tour today was “what is that plant?!?”
Well…. This is the Cup Plant!
The name comes from the natural reservoir that forms between the leaves, and when it rains, that “cup” fills with water. Creating a communal water dish for all types of critters to come have a sip from! We’re talking bees, butterflies, birds, chipmunks, and even you, if you’d like! 😉
A native perennial that grows quite tall (up to 12 feet) and attracts all sorts of wildlife!

A lil sneak peek at my Suburban Homestead Gardens that are on tomorrow's Uxbridge Garden Tour - we expect 400+ visitors!

I can't wait to share my food garden, native plants, pollinator habitats, upcycled materials + whimsical decor with a whollllllle bunch of Plant Nerds.

Make sure to say hello if you've got a ticket + will be here! Shae Tunall + Jer Allison
will be on site helping out, too.

We'll have the last of our seeds + seedlings, Fairy Garden Kits, Slabtown Cider jellies, Nectar Honey, cute planters + accessories for sale on site.

The shop at 18 Brock St W is still open regular Saturday hours 10-5.

Today this Cowboy Cactus is discharged after the following procedures:

* Straightening
* Much bigger pot!
* Fresh cacti soil
* Deep water
* Fertilizer
