Farmhouse Garden Animal Home What was once a cattle ranch is now an animal sanctuary. Farmhouse Garden Animal Home is located in Uxbridge, Ontario, about an hour from Toronto.

Multi-generational organic farmer and cattle rancher Mike Lanigan was taking care of the cows one day and had a change of heart: he no longer wanted to send them off to slaughter. He then allowed his employee, Edith, to take over and convert this cattle farm into a safe haven for the animals within it. With the manure of these cows, he fertilizes his 40 acre farm full of certified organic, yummy v

We are turning TEN and you’re invited! Join us on Sunday, September 27 from 1–4 PM for an extra-special visiting day celebrating 10 years of rescue, sanctuary, and forever homes.

For the occasion, we’ll be filling the field with a huge spread of the cows’ favourite fruits, veggies, and treats, then letting them loose to enjoy their feast! Come gather around the field and experience the joy of watching our rescued cows dig into a celebration made just for them.

We’ll have all the usual visiting day staples as well as a BBQ picnic! Get your tickets now, and we can’t wait to celebrate ten years of home with you.
