Alannah is overjoyed to return to Banjo and serenade you this Sunday August 30th. She is excited to share some new original tunes and folky covers. Her songs are sweet and thoughtful, accompanied by a mix of acoustic and electric guitar. Grab a delicious cider (or a Sunny☀️) and some pals so we can soak in the last drips of the summer season together!

🚨Announcement for this weekend 🚨
Our fantastic chef LUPO! is going to be away this weekend. In lieu of the usual menu of pizzas we’re going to have charcuterie boards, and his specialty spicy ricotta dip available to order. We also encourage anyone coming to feel free to bring your own food and snacks. We just ask that no outside drink be brought in.
We will resume service as normal the following weekend! See you on the patio! 🪕🍎

This Sunday, we are welcoming our friend Derek Virgo back to the Banjo Cider stage. As some of you know, Derek has a pretty special connection with us here at Banjo and we are so happy to have him back.

A lot of Derek’s music is ravelled into deep personal storytelling of his own now-four-year-long journey that all began on the side of Sandford Road, just a few kilometres west of us when his life was saved one morning by one of our very own staff members.

Since that day, Derek credits playing, creating, and immersing himself in music as the most therapeutic force he has found on his recovery journey.

Come join Derek for some songs, stories, and cider this Sunday from 2-4pm.

We’re excited to welcome back our friend Paul Paul Mingay to the stage at Banjo. Join us this weekend from 2-4 on the 16th for some good tunes and a good time. See you on the patio!

Paul is a singer-songwriter based in Uxbridge and Toronto whose songs reflect his own experience and what he has observed in others. He has performed at Wintersong in Stouffville, at Fridays at the Foster in Uxbridge and venues such as Banjo Cider. His song “River” is nominated for Single of the Year in the DREAMS! Music Awards, 2026. All his songs are available on the major streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple and YouTube.
