I am so deeply grateful for everyone who came out and bought my sourdough today!!
After an absolutely terrible experience at the Stompede; which I know most of the other beautiful, amazing vendors currently there feel the same,
I had over 300 loaves sitting. My heart was broken. I didn't want to see my sleepless nights and hours and hours of baking next to a very hot oven and have them not be enjoyed by anyone.
As a single mom of four, this is my income and my passion. I get to raise my kids and still hold everything together financially.
The amount of work that not only myself but every vendor there put in, To have absolutely zero turn out is devastating and you can feel that through everyone.
So in hopes to recoup some of my cost, I hoped that I could get at least have some of my loaves sold for 5$.
You guys truly blew me out of the water today.
Not only from the massive support and love from my dear Grande Prairie Farmer's Market friends and fellow vendors. But from the amount of people who came and bought every single loaf.
I have two more boxes coming before the end of the day and the rest as it gets cooked I'll bring to the stompede.
I can't thank you all enough. From the bottom of my heart. I went from being just so defeated to so uplifted and grateful.
Thank you all so so much. For turning a nightmare weekend, into just so much gratitude, my heart is so full.
I couldnt ask for a better community to be a part of.
I hope everyone enjoys my sourdough that they purchased. I put my whole heart and soul into making it the best I can ❤️
