, a Japanese-owned spot, is offering lunch from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM on weekends! 🥢

When I visited, they had the Hokke (Atka mackerel) Teishoku set. It comes with a massive 1/2 pound of grilled Hokke, 3 sides, rice, and miso soup—all for $27! 🐟

Plus, it looks like they recently started an affordable Omakase set (8 pcs for just $49!) 🍣✨

They’ve made it so much more approachable and budget-friendly now, so this is the perfect chance to go check them out!

私が伺った時は、ホッケ定食セットがあったので迷いなく注文！ハーフポンドもある大きな焼きホッケに、小鉢3品、ご飯、お味噌汁がついて27ドルです。

最近はお手頃な価格のおまかせセット（8貫で49ドル！）も始められたようです。

The brand started in Tottori, Japan, and has since expanded to Taiwan and Thailand. Their first Canadian location is now their 27th store worldwide.

👉️So, what exactly is a "nama donut"?
Nama donuts are known for their soft, fluffy, almost melt-in-your-mouth texture. Compared to Korean-style brioche donuts, they're much more moist and delicate inside. This brand achieves that texture by incorporating pumpkin into the dough and frying it at a high temperature for a short amount of time.

The signature Truffle Donut comes without any filling and has a fragrant, sweet-and-savory flavor that’s quite unique. The Cinnamon Sugar is another filling-free option.

The filled donuts were all very distinctive and well executed. The matcha was especially impressive, it had a proper matcha bitterness rather than being overly sweet.

✨ Oldest Italian spot since 1978 ✨

is one of the oldest Italian restaurants in Vancouver, serving since 1978! Tucked away in Gastown so many people still don’t know about. With 240+ seats, private rooms, and an upstairs bar with a view, it’s the perfect spot for any occasion.

The menu is huge and so are the portions! Their chicken parmigiana is basically two full meals in one. Their pizzas are wood-fired, crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside.

Also, you have to try their seafood. They were actually out of the 8oz lobster, so they hooked us up with two smaller ones😋

は、1978年から続くバンクーバーで最も歴史あるイタリアンレストランの一つ。ガスタウンの隠れ家的な場所に位置していて、知らない人も多い穴場スポットなんです。

店内は240席以上と非常に広く、プライベート個室や、ガスタウンの景色を楽しめる2階のバーまで完備。大切な日のディナーからカジュアルな集まりまで、どんなシーンにもぴったりです🥂

メニューの種類もさることながら、特筆すべきはそのボリューム！特にチキンパルミジャーナは、一人分とは思えないほど満足感たっぷりです。薪窯で焼き上げるピザは、外はパリッと、中はモチモチの絶妙な食感。
