New Bao Place in Mountain View 🥟 Super Bao KJ

I love that you can actually watch them making the dumplings from scratch here. The menu is also SO diverse, with everything from appetizers, bao, dumplings, dim sum, noodles, and small dishes to dessert. Basically, there’s something for everyone ✨
The signature bao and dumplings were definitely the highlights. The Pan Fried Beef & Scallion Bao was so soft and fluffy on the inside, with a perfectly crispy bottom. The Crab & Pork Soup Dumplings were packed with soup, and we could actually taste the crab in every bite.
The Couple’s Beef Special was another favorite. It’s a Sichuan appetizer with beef, tendon, and tripe coated in a spicy, numbing chili oil sauce that’s so flavorful and addictive! The Beijing Bean Paste Fresh Noodles were also super rich and full of umami.
Such a perfect spot for a cozy meal when the weather gets cooler! 🤤
