Featuring 5 flavours, including 𝟮 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗳𝗹𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 (Scallion Cream Cheese & Corn Cheese) and 4 flavours that we’ve never had at Penny Penny Coffee before!

We have around 30 mooncakes (five 6-pcs gift boxes etc) left across our last two production days for the 2026 Mid-Autumn Season.

Pickup for Thu Sep 24 is 6-6:30pm
Pickup for Fri Sep 25 is 3-3:30pm

Pickup is at our commissary kitchen 107-8811 Laurel St, Vancouver (Commissary Connect - Laurel location).

As you may already know, Snowskin Mooncakes need to be refrigerated so we couldn’t offer delivery or self-pickup. So we want to say thank you to everyone who has come by the commissary kitchen to pick up.

It was great seeing customers again who have known us since our COVID days, and customers who knew of our salt bread and are trying our Snowskin Mooncakes for the first time!

🐰🌕✨𝐌𝐢𝐝-𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐦𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐭 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝 🥐 & 𝐌𝐨𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐚𝐤𝐞 🥮 𝐏𝐨𝐩-𝐔𝐩 at Penny Penny Coffee

We’ll be at Penny Penny Coffee this coming Sunday, baking fresh salt breads and mooncakes for the Labour Day long weekend! 🥐🥮

It’s our third time popping up here, and we’re so grateful for all your support 💕 With Mid-Autumn Festival just around the corner, we thought we’d make this pop-up a little different from our usual ones

First up, we’ll be offering our 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 “𝗧𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗬𝘂𝗲𝗻” Salt Bread 🖤

Tong Yuen are glutinous rice (mochi) balls traditionally enjoyed during Mid-Autumn Festival to celebrate unity and family gatherings. We’ve incorporated them into our salt bread by making our own “Tong Yuen” with a molten black sesame filling, then topping the bun with a black sesame cookie crust.

We’ll also be bringing our 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗘𝗴𝗴 𝗖𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗟𝗮𝘃𝗮 𝗠𝗼𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 🥮

Inspired by the iconic HK Peninsula custard mooncakes, these feature a crumbly, buttery cookie crust filled with salted egg yolk custard, plus a small molten centre for an extra burst of flavour!

And of course, we’ll have some old and new favourites to complete our salt bread 🥐 lineup:

September Schedule 🌕🥮🥐

It’s going to be an exciting month with Mid-Autumn Festival! We’ll continue popping up around town 🥐(including a special collab 👀🐟), along with our salt bread bake days and mooncake days.

We’ll also be switching up our salt bread lineup with some Mid-Autumn-inspired flavours (think tang yuan, salted egg yolk custard 😋) plus some limited-edition mooncakes for the season 🥮✨

Inspired by the iconic HK Peninsula custard mooncakes, we present our very own “Teapurinsula” Salted Egg Yolk Custard Mooncakes! 🥮✨

Featuring a melt-in-your-mouth salted egg yolk custard with a slight molten centre for an extra burst of rich, savoury flavour 🤤

And the best part? These mooncakes are stable at room temperature, making them eligible for delivery! 🚚

Our signature Japanese Tea Snowskin Mooncakes are available for pre-order on our website through September. Featuring 3 Japanese Teas: Ceremonial-grade Matcha 厳選抹茶, Hojicha 焙じ茶, and Kocha 和紅茶(Japanese Black Tea). Available in 1 to 6-piece gift boxes. Check out our pinned post for more info!

Just like how mooncakes are a quintessential symbol of Mid-Autumn Festival, Tong Yuen (glutinous rice balls with lava filling) are eaten on this holiday to symbolize “togetherness” and family unity.

We’ve incorporated this into our Black Sesame Tong Yuen Salt Bread, featuring our own handmade Tong Yuen with Black Sesame lava.

For those who love lava custard mooncakes, you’re going to love our HK Pineapple Bun “bolo” with Salted Egg Yolk Lava. Savoury duck egg yolk meets buttery sweetness and crispy salt bread 🥐

We’re happy to announce that our Japanese tea snowskin mooncakes are back for Mid-Autumn Festival this year! 🌕✨

For those who may be new here, our Teapurin snowskin mooncakes are made with Japanese tea-infused custard and a rich nama chocolate core, all wrapped in a thin, soft layer of fresh mochi skin. Everything is made fresh on the day of pickup. 🤎

This year, we’re featuring three Japanese teas:
