In the lead up to the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Indonesia and Canada in 2022, the Consulate General of Indonesia in Vancouver in collaboration with the Indonesian Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) in Vancouver will be hosting a cultural and creative economy promotional program on October 5th, 2021. This program will be convened under the overarching theme of “A Quick Journey to Indonesia: Discover its Uniqueness”.
The event will showcase the rich and diverse culture of Indonesia, renowned for some of the best tasting dishes, elaborate stylized wood carvings, illustrious musical instruments, distinct traditional dances and beautiful garments.
Additionally, as part of the creative economy promotional program the Consulate General will be re-introducing Vancouver-based Archipelago Marketplace Inc. as an Indonesian social enterprise that aims to assist Indonesia’s micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to enter the Canadian market, and eventually North American markets.
