Before The Lazy Gourmet became one of Vancouver’s leading caterers, our founder, Susan Mendelson, was a UBC student baking Nanaimo bars, cheesecake, and carrot cake from her home kitchen and selling them during intermission at the Vancouver East Cultural Centre.

More than 45 years later, that same passion for quality food, community, and hospitality remains at the heart of everything we do.
