Just kidding! 😂 About the “calling” part.

Seriously though… don’t call me. Email me. 😂

And then wait for 5 days for me to respond!

But call me if it’s urgent!

I’m a highly stimulated, slightly sleep-deprived, mom with a new-ish baby & a preschooler, running a pastry business AND opening our first storefront sometime this month.

So if I don’t answer your call… it’s not personal. There’s probably a baby, a croissant, or a construction crisis happening simultaneously. 🫠🥐

BUT… there is one thing I can promise you:

You can still get your croissants.🥐

A little reminder for the week ahead: eat well, rest when you need to, trust your intuition, and don’t take life too seriously.

Some days are for salads. Some days are for a buttery croissant. And here’s the truth…both can coexist. Right?

And sometimes happiness really is just coffee, good company, and a flaky pastry in your hands.

If you’re around Vancouver this weekend, you know where to find us — but mostly, we hope you make a little room for the things that make an ordinary week feel special. 🤍

Someone pinch me…

I’m opening my own bakery. 🥹✨

Was it a dream? Absolutely.

Was it the vision behind Elaichi Patisserie? From day one.

Did I ever imagine we’d get here just 3 years after starting? Not even close.

Did I plan on taking on the biggest project of my life with a newborn in my arms? Definitely not. Call me a little crazy. 😅

But here we are.

Some days my heart races with excitement. Other days it’s racing because I’m wondering… How am I actually going to pull this off?

But I’ve always believed that life has a funny way of trusting you before you trust yourself. It only hands you what you’re capable of carrying—even when it feels impossibly heavy.

So here’s to messy beginnings, sleepless nights, big dreams, and a whole lot of butter, flour, and faith.

The next chapter of Elaichi Patisserie starts now. 🥐💛

Guess who just turned 3?! 🥹 That’s right!

Three years ago, Elaichi Patisserie started as a dream. A dream built on love for French pastry, a little nostalgia, and the hope of creating something Vancouver had never tasted before.

Every order, every market visit, every message, and every person who has shared our croissants has been a part of this journey. Thank you for helping us…helping me get here. ✨

To celebrate this milestone, I finally made a croissant that has been on my mind for the longest time. And what better reason than Elaichi turning 3?! 🎉

Introducing our Double-Baked Birthday Cake Croissant!

A buttery croissant soaked in vanilla milk syrup, filled with birthday cake frangipane, baked to perfection, then topped with silky Swiss meringue buttercream and rainbow sprinkles. Basically… a birthday cake and croissant had a very delicious little celebration. 🎉

🎂 This limited birthday special will be available exclusively at Flavours of Hope Café inside Granville Island Public Market from July 31–August 3.

🕣 Hours:
• Friday, July 31 – Sunday, August 2: 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Monday, August 3: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Only a limited number will be available each day, so set those alarms and come early before these birthday babies disappear! ⏰🥐💚
