Got back to working on croissants after months!!! It felt so good!

Building a business is so hard, specially as a small business owner. You do everything…admin, Marketing, strategy, social media, HR, managing team, managing production, customers and customer service!

At times it feels exciting, at times it feels empowering but a lot of times it feels chaotic and exhausting! But one thing that quitens that noise is working in the kitchen! Shaping those croissants!!

And that’s when you reaffirm the reason you started this business.

Six weeks postpartum, baby strapped in, exactly where I want to be.

Some days are chaotic, some days are exhausting, but I get to build something I care about with my little one along for the ride, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

What I didn’t realize was how well Elaichi had already prepared me for this. The 3 AM bake-offs, the broken sleep, the early market mornings….turns out I’d been in newborn training for years without knowing it.

Enjoying this phase of life where I can step in when I want, how much I want and still be there for my newborn!
