Spending the summer in Vancouver? Love football, festivals, good food, and fast-paced energy?

MunChi German Food is hiring for the upcoming FIFA FanFest at the PNE in East Vancouver from June 2 – July 21 and we’re looking for awesome people to join the team!

Perfect for German backpackers + working holiday travellers✈️

💸 PAY:
Starting at $20/hour + tips

📍POSITIONS AVAILABLE:
🥨 Pretzel Production at kitchen in East Van
🍝 Spätzle Production at kitchen in East Van
⚽ Serving, Selling & Cooking at the FIFA FanFest at the PNE

⏰ HOURS:
Anything from 12 hours/week to full-time, but full-time availability is definitely preferred.

✅ YOU SHOULD:
• Be on time and reliable
• Thrive in a fast-paced team environment
• Be motivated to serve customers quickly and efficiently
• Be comfortable speaking English
• Know the basic German food items we sell and their variations (pretzels, spätzle, leberkas, etc.)
• Be able to lift up to 20kg
• Have a valid FoodSafe Level 1 certificate
• Have a valid SIN number and legal work visa for Canada
• Hospitality or kitchen experience is a big plus, but not necessary for the right applicant

🙌 Training provided.

This is one of the biggest events of the summer with huge crowds, great vibes, football fans from around the world, and a fun team atmosphere.

• Shipyards Christmas Market
• Future festivals & production work

All our pretzels are handmade with love and the closest thing to a true Munich Pretzels that you can get in the lower mainland! 🤤 with them, we make sandwiches of all kinds and pizza pretzels! Check out the sweet options too 😏

MunChi is back from Germany and ready to take orders for Easter! 🐣 🥨 Pick ups available for East Van at 1820 Pandora Street & Coquitlam/Burtquitlam on April 4th! Pre-order until April 1st 🙂

It’s been a while since we posted, a lot of good has happened and we are taking on even bigger events this year 😍⚽️🇩🇪
