It might not be COMPLETELY over 👀

Kerrisdale’s Shoku Vegan Sushi🥢Vancouver has recently revealed that it’ll be shutting down in just about a month’s time 😭

Having been opened for four years, it’s best known for its oshizushi (pressed sushi), nigiri, and poke that are all made with vegan fish 🍣

The restaurant also shared plans to relocate but not many details are known about it (yet).

Conveyor belt sushi vibes ALL THE WAY 🍣

Zumi Revolving Sushi Bar is an upcoming sushi restaurant opening in Vancouver’s West End later this winter, but it’s not your typical Japanese spot here 👀

Instead, the restaurant will be a kaiten sushi experience (aka conveyor belt sushi or sushi train) for the quickest chef-to-seat delivery 🍽️

After 14 AMAZING years here 😭

Vancouver’s iconic Fable Kitchen has just shared that it’ll be closing its doors later this month after a wild 14-year stint in the city’s dining scene 🍽️

Best known for its local, farm-to-table offerings that delivered fresh flavours in a casual and non-pretentious setting, the restaurant shared that the closure was due to “rising operating costs... combined with the financial and emotional strain of the Broadway Subway construction and the expenses associated with Fable Diner.”

However, the restaurant also shared that it’s not over for the Fable brand, as it still has Fable Bar & Grill and is currently looking for ways to expand, including food trucks and collaborations 👀
