Heracles has an intense ruby colour with garnet edges. The nose shows a fascinating complexity from the floral aromas of violet, to the rich maraschino cherry, black cherry and strawberry, on a base of velvety balsamic notes, licorice and aromatic herbs. The palate is full-bodied and fruit forward with refined tannins and a pleasantly fresh finish.

For Cortonesi, great w**e starts long before the grapes reach the cellar. Across their vineyards in Montalcino, the family takes a thoughtful, hands-on approach to viticulture, working carefully with each site and its unique soils, exposure and growing conditions.
With a focus on respecting the land and allowing Sangiovese to express where it comes from, careful work in the vineyard lays the foundation for the character, elegance and sense of place found throughout the Cortonesi w**es. 🌿🍷

🍷 Cortonesi Léonus Toscana Rosso

Once thought lost after disappearing from Bordeaux in the 19th century, Carménère was rediscovered in Chile, where it has become one of the country’s signature varieties. 🍇
Grown in estate vineyards in the Colchagua Valley, this exuberant Carménère is packed with black cherry, ripe plum, wild berry and blueberry, layered with notes of black pepper, rosemary and bay leaf. It’s concentrated and complex on the palate, with a silky texture and a lingering, spiced-fruit finish. 🍷
Pair it with grilled meats, poultry, pasta or classic Chilean favourites like sweetcorn pie and meat pasties. 🍝
