Annabelle Choi Studio is a socially engaging food caterer and creative consultancy, providing delicious and ethically responsible food experiences. We exist to service the community by providing engaging and thought provoking edible events, and also offer skill-trading events and culinary workshops that are fun, approachable, and creatively informative -- which in turn empowers and motivates indiv
iduals in their daily lives and interactions. Annabelle Choi is a designer, professional cook and pastry chef. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from Emily Carr University of Art and Design, with a special interest in humanitarian relief projects and aid supporting objects, as well as a culinary degree from Ballymaloe Cookery School in Ireland. She spends her time asking questions that pertain to the need of an object and the symbiotic relationship between food, art, and design, while designing and cooking for a living, breathing world. Likewise, her projects are experimental, honest, and thought provoking. With credentials ranging from working under leading Chefs like Darina Allen (Ballymaloe Cookery, Ireland) and William Werner (Craftsman and Wolves, San Francisco), and forming and running Matchstick Coffee Roasters bread and bakery program, Choi concentrates on opportunities and collaborations with other like-minded trans-disciplinary industries and socially conscious clients, as she continues her culinary and sociological education by foraging in a world where food becomes the medium, and relationships, people, and story-telling continue to be the inspiration.
