2026 Mid-Year Food Donation Impact | Creating impact through partnership.

At Fresh Direct Produce, we're proud to continue our partnership with Vancouver Food Runners, helping rescue and deliver surplus food to communities across Metro Vancouver.

Here's the impact we've made together so far in 2026:

❇️ 43,479 lbs of Surplus Food Donated
❇️ 36,233 Equivalent Meals Provided
❇️ 43,479 lbs CO₂ eq Mitigated
❇️ $158,264 in In-Kind Donations
❇️ 8 Nonprofit Organizations Supported

Every pound of food rescued represents more than reduced waste. It means nutritious food reaching people who need it, stronger community partnerships, and meaningful progress toward a more sustainable food system.

A sincere thank you to the Vancouver Food Runners team, the volunteer drivers, and everyone behind the scenes who helps make this possible. We're proud of what we've accomplished together so far and look forward to building on this impact throughout the rest of 2026.
