RAZZY AF 🔴 👄 🔴

We thought it was about time for something new from us, and after a summer munching on berries, we’ve got just the thing.

Introducing Razzy AF! We took our flagship Hazy IPA “Juicy AF” and Razzified it to the max! A whopping 200kg of Red Raspberry goodness was used in this particularly scientific Raspberrification process.

The result is a golden-pink hued, super juicy Hazy IPA with a bold, unmistakable raspberry presence that melds amazingly with the citrus and tropical notes of Juicy AF’s Citra and Mosaic hop base. All of that flavour is carried by a smooth mouthfeel and moderate bitterness to bring everything together.

Razzy’s available in the Threefold lounge starting tomorrow, October 2nd, both in cans to go and on tap, and it’s making its way around town now.

FRESH DROP 🥶

We just whipped up a fresh batch of our crispy Cold IPA “It’s Ice” to close out the summer.

This b**r is brewed with pilsner malt and plenty of rice for a crisp malt character, and then dry hopped with Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe to give lots of citrus, tropical, and stone fruit, balanced by floral, piney notes and soft bitterness.

It’s Ice is making its way to stores now, and its also available on tap and in cans to go at Threefold

EASY MODE 🏞️

Sometimes you gotta take it easy.

Introducing Easy Mode, a West Coast Pale Ale made in collaboration with ‘s Battle of BC: Canada’s Premier Fighting Game event taking place June 5-7th at the Vancouver Convention Centre.

BOBC brings in competitors from around the world, so we wanted to make something that celebrates British Columbia, while being easy to drink whether you’re in the sticks, or on the sticks.

We start with a base of BC pilsner malt (with just a touch of Munich) and BC Cascade hops, and finish it with a generous dry hop of Simcoe and Amarillo for a classic PNW flavour profile. Grapefruit, orange, stone fruit, and pine come together with a crisp, balanced, and dry finish, provided by a fermentation with a l***r yeast.

Easy Mode will be available in the **r lounge starting tomorrow, May 29th, and is starting to make the distro rounds now.

☁️ BLISS ☁️

Breathe in. Breathe out. Do you feel it? The serenity? That, my friend, is Bliss.

A fresh new IPA featuring Freestyle Nelson Sauvin hops (from ) that are late harvested with their ‘Bliss Process’, intensifying the tropical notes of Nelson without losing their signature citrus and white w**e character. Bliss's pillowy body carries flavors of passionfruit, nectarine, grapefruit, and w**e grapes... like a cornucopia in the clouds.

Bliss is available now in the **r tasting room, and in stores soon!

DOUBLE VISION 👀 👀

With the addition of Cyber Samurai, we've now got 3 Double IPAs kicking around. But what makes them different?

After Boombox finished hop selection at last September, we took a road trip to Northern California, Oregon and Washington State and were inspired by some amazing IPAs. Cyber Samurai is the result of all that inspiration. We went heavy on wheat and oats to create a soft, velvety mouthfeel that compliments the bold tropical flavors created by the Citra, Galaxy, and Strata combining with the Mango Madness supplied by . We get a big pineapple, pina colada character from it.

Synthwave was one of our first DIPAs, brewed way back in our days at Callister, and originally featured 7 different hop varieties, including the trial releases of Cryo hops. We have been making improvements to the recipe and the latest is the third significant variation of the recipe and features Dynaboost Citra, Citra, Simcoe and Motueka. It's a velvety smooth, stone-fruit punch with a balanced bitterness.

Still Alive celebrated our relaunch of Boombox last year, and represents new brewing techniques, new ingredients and a fresh re-start for the brewery! This one was loaded with Dynaboost Citra, Dynaboost Mosaic, Galaxy, Cryo Citra and Cryo Mosaic, giving it it a character of sweet melon, citrus, and the slightest of dankness all carried by a soft, pillowy mouthful.

You can find all 3 of these big b**rs at the **r tasting room right now, and in stores around the lower mainland (while supplies last).

MIDNIGHT TRAIN 🌚 🚂

Darkness has returned to Boombox. Midnight Train is our fan favourite imperial milk stout loaded with copious amounts of coconut, chocolate, and coffee. It’s a rich, smooth, velvety, and decadent thing... perfect for warming up during the winter months.

This liquified Nanaimo bar will be available on tap and to go at the **r tasting room starting tomorrow, Thursday Dec 12th, alongside a few other b**rs from our friends that you may want to try 👀

Slow Hand’s tasting room will be open from 3-9PM tomorrow at 1830 Powell St.

DROP THE DEMO 🔴

In an time where hops are constantly evolving in flavour and form, sometimes you just gotta try something out.

That's why we're dropping our first DEMOS — one off explorations to play with hops (even more than... you know... we do now).

1️⃣ Demo 1 is a Hazy IPA that we finished with Mosaic Cryo, and Citra three ways: HyperBoost, DynaBoost, and Hop Terpenes.
If you like Citra, we think you're gonna love this one. A well rounded character full of citrus and tropical fruit, with a medium body and balanced bitter finish.

2️⃣ Demo 2 is a Hazy IPA with the same base as 1, but this time finished with Mosaic Cryo, Citra DynaBoost, and Nelson Sauvin Hop Kief.

On this side, the Nelson kief really shines. We get lots of green grape but also passionfruit, guava, and a slight dankness.

Both are available in the Slow Hand tasting room starting TODAY!
