A Provençal icon and one of the few Cru Classé estates, the winery has spent generations preserving Tibouren, a rare native grape that almost disappeared. Distinctive, delicious, the right amount of wine nerdy, and pretty picture perfect too. 🍷

Chenin Blanc is a grape variety from France’s Loire Valley. It’s probably the world’s most versatile grape, producing all sweetness levels wines, from bone-dry to fully sweet, and from still to sparkling. It’s high acidity is a key component, and it is noted for its remarkable ability to age.

The Loire Valley is the heartland of Chenin Blanc, but it also shines in different places of France, South Africa, the USA, Okanagan Valley and Australia. A good Chenin Blanc is a memorable experience. If you haven’t tried one, or haven’t had it in a while, it’s time to visit Liberty Point Grey and pick up a bottle.
