It is hard to believe summer 2026 just flew by like that, and these are just a few moments from the season, from hosting Tempest Theatre’s incredible run of DREAM at our historic Village Theatre to releasing our first rosé and soaking up the long days on the Bench. ✨

Looking back at these highlights, you really remember why this time of year is so special out here. Even though the calendar is turning and harvest is in full swing, there is still so much left to enjoy. ☀️🍁🥂

Protecting this crop takes a lot more than just good weather. 🍇

These shots were captured back when smoke was hanging heavy over the valley. Even in those tough conditions, our team didn’t miss a beat, hauling gear and stretching meters of mesh overhead to protect the ripening fruit from hungry birds as sugar levels peak.

Thankfully, the skies have cleared up beautifully, but the hard work continues. A massive shoutout to the vineyard crew for putting in the physical grit between the rows through every condition to get this harvest across the finish line.

Next time you raise a glass of Van Westen, here’s to the hands out in the dirt. 🥂

Tailgate down, truck loaded, and good w**e flowing. 🍷

Huge thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us and our neighbours at the Naramata Bench Tailgate event this past weekend.

Dropping the tailgate, pouring directly from the back of the truck, and catching up with local growers, friends, and visitors right on the beach is what this valley is all about. No big production—just great w**e, local food, and harvest energy at its absolute finest.

Huge shoutout to the Naramata Bench W**eries Association and Discover Naramata for bringing back a tradition that means so much to this Bench.

Every cluster, one snip at a time. 🍇

Looking back at last year’s pick as we gear up to do it all over again. There are no machines doing the fine work out here—just hands in the canopy, shears in hand, and tub after tub moving down the rows.

The bins are washed, Rob’s got the tractor prepped, and we’re just waiting on the fruit to give us the green light for the first pick of 2026.

Dropping our tailgate and celebrating harvest like it’s 2004. 🚜🍷

This Sunday, September 13th, the Naramata Bench W**eries Association, in partnership with Discover Naramata, is bringing it back, and we’re dropping our tailgate to pour alongside more than 20 of our Bench neighbours.

Event Details: 🗓️ Sunday, September 13 | 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
📍 Manitou Beach Park, Naramata
🎟️ Tickets include a commemorative tasting cup, 6 tasting tokens, and a $10 food voucher for onsite food trucks.
🚗 Parking at Manitou Park is limited—if driving, please park in the village and walk over to respect local residents, or take advantage of the event shuttle.
