One more day of advance voting today (October 21st) in the provincial election then voting day is Sat. October 24th. Victoria-Fraserview riding has always been one to watch with some close election results. As our long standing MLA George Chow is retiring, a local resident has reached out to the person running in his place Aman Singh. For those interested, you have the opportunity to meet him this Thursday at Champlain Mall. Sharing her posts with more info below.

The last pop up of the season Oct.23-25,Fri-Sun,from 10am-4pm.

Case lot sales ,Okanagan apples and Anjou pears.and lots of goodies from our field ,including fresh corn, assorted squash,broccoli ,cauliflower and bunch carrots.

For those that might not be aware, the HarbourMaster Clubhouse at 2010 East Kent Ave S at Victoria Drive is again a voting location for the provincial election for both advance voting Oct. 16-21 and voting day Saturday, Oct. 24th. 8:00 am - 8:00 pm.

Back by paw-pular demand - the 4th Annual community organized Bark-or-Treat event is happening for River District dogs (and friends) Sunday, Oct 25th from 1pm-3:30pm!

We have some exciting things in the works to make this year’s event extra pawsome, so get your costumes and treat bags ready pup pals!

As most know there is a municipal election on Saturday, October 17th, but advance voting starts this Saturday, October 3rd. Having attended a number of political townhalls and other events, South and East Vancouver have finally made it to the political forefront. Many of those seeking election realize South and East Vancouver are lacking amenities and other services.
