Tried Qurutob for the first time and it’s been the most memorable thing I’ve eaten recently!!! A flakey bread called fatir, not to be confused with Egyptian feteer, that’s soaked in a tangy yogurt sauce. Emily Wilson fedner and I went to an Uzbek restaurant in Kensington Brooklyn and it was incredible.

What we ordered:
- plov
- Qurutob
- mantis
- a beef kebab

The people who own the restaurant are ethnically Tajik but born in Uzbekistan so that’s why they make Qurutob. So freaking cool and so happy I got to try this food.

STAYCATION IN NYC!! And the best weekend ever Diplo’s Run Club THANK YOU SO MUCH WHOOP 🥹💛.

If you’ve never been to diplo run club, highly recommend!! So much fun and Flushing Meadow Park is gorgeous this time of the year🏃‍♀️

I never ever take these experiences for granted and I’ll definitely remember this weekend!!

Affordable lunch spot in NYC! This build your own kaisendons spot in Chinatown is offering bowls starting at $22!! They have set bowls as well which I tried one today. Incredible. The fish is fresh and the portion is fantastic.

I ordered “The General” which is the most expensive one on the menu at $49 which is definitely a splurge but it was so so good.

The annual summer —> fall transition always calls for a closet clean out for me (this is only round one🥲) all the places I went to and some others I couldn’t make it to are listed below! Also P.S. I don’t think this will ever be as lucrative as relisting your own items on depop or poshmark but it saves so much more time if you want to clear things out fast!

Some tips if you want to do this:
- bring seasonal/trebdt clothes, they are more likely to take these
- go on a weekday if possible to minimize wait times
- go to a few because different places will take different things!

When I’m not eating out I’m eating lazy dinners at home and this scallion chicken is always a go to!! It’s SO EASY! And this recipe is not really a recipe because I eyeball everything but to give you an idea:

Ingredients:
- 2 chicken legs
- a few slices of ginger
- 2 scallion
- as much garlic as you wish
- soy sauce (light sodium or regular)
- salt + sugar
- hot oil
