finally popped into Jack’s Fish and Chips for a late lunch. 🐟

we ordered:
🐟fish and chips w/ sinigang fries
🦐 dill pickle popcorn shrimp
🥣 cup of chowder (add lobster oil)

the star of the show was the popcorn shrimp, and the chowder was really hearty! sadly, we weren’t too fond of the fish, but the sinigang fries were a nice touch— overall, a solid spot for some casual bites!

THIS lives rent-free in our minds! 🧠

Irish Chinese food- specifically an Irish Spice Bag has been all over our FYP (For You page) for months. And thankfully there’s a spot in Vancouver that serves it up! 🇮🇪🇨🇳

We tried out:
🐉 Dragon Tray (fries, chicken balls on fried rice and topped with curry)
🔥 Spice Bag (fries and chicken bites tossed in a salt & chili seasoning)
🌶️ Salt & Chili Spring Rolls
💛 Wrappo (curried rice in a spring roll wrapper)*
🤍 Prawn Crackers

Spice level is quite light and not too spicy! 🔥

A modern takes Vietnamese cuisine. 🇻🇳

has launched their summer menu just in time for the sunshine. Their variety offers fresh flavours, light aromatics and deliciosly grilled dishes! This is a great spot to get together with friends and enjoy a tasty meal.

Our notes:

• Pomelo salad had huge chunks of pomelo.

• Shaken Beef is made with premium cut of tenderloin.

• Green Chili sauce that comes with the honey chicken and crab fried rice is super flavouful and packs a slow-hitting kick! We loved dipping everything in it.

• Banana and Coffee ice creams are both made in-house, and were the perfect sweet end to our meal.

big bowl of vermicelli = happiness 🫶🏼

this is our fave spot to grab fresh and filling vermicelli bowls in burnaby!
viet.noodle.guy is tucked away in the brentwood area, and is serving up loaded bowls, pho and banh mis. 🍜

what we ordered:

🥣 b1. bun dac biet- lemongrass chicken, grilled pork, pork patty, shredded pork and a spring roll

🥣 b13. bun ga sa thit nuong cha gio- lemongrass chicken, grilled pork and a spring roll

portions are generous and definitely sharable or enjoy the leftovers for yourself!

choose from sizzling rice bowls, piping hot main dishes or hot pots- it’s the perfect spot for a cold rainy day. 🔥

we ordered:

🍆 minced pork with eggplant
🍗 boneless chicken slices
🍵 passion fruit green tea

*we added on one combo for $9.95 to include the boneless chicken slices and passion fruit green tea, which we thought was a great value!
