We also want to shout out the young lady who raised lot #77 that we purchased. She purchased her swine project from us this spring as a piglet. She has kept us in the loop over the last 6 months of raising it. She showed complete enthusiasm and commitment throughout her project. When meeting her at the auction to see her final product, it was an easy sell! She shook our hands like a boss, made eye contact when talking with Matt and showed complete confidence. Whoever purchases this pork is supporting one heck of a future farmer!! We love seeing kids show such enthusiasm and passion behind what they are raising. And… these are dam nice pigs!! Great job to both girls on raising top tier pigs.

The weather has shifted. Can you feel it?? Hunting season is just around the corner and we’re ready to friggen roll baby!! Let the wild game processing begin.
We have mad respect for everyone who provides for themselves by means of hunting. Shout out to the ones who are staying true to their roots and providing food for their families by puttin’ boots on the ground.

2026 4H processing has officially begun and we’re stoked 🤘🏼
Shout out to Kaimac Industrial LTD. for helping knock these critters down with Butcher Matt! All 32 of these animals were hanging in the cooler by 10:30am this morning. Buyers be prepared, you have some top tier meat coming your way!

Don’t let your babies grow up not knowing where their food comes from. Partaking in this 4H weekend and listening to all these kids talk about their animals, their feed programs, the cost to raise and finish the animal, and the end product of steaks and chops and all the fine details of the truth really puts a smile on our faces!!
It gives us hope that folks are sticking to their routes and agriculture lifestyle. Hats off to all the parents & kids partaking in this lifestyle & keeping agriculture alive!

When I tell you the 4H Auction is addicting, I’m not kidding. It becomes a fun battle of the businesses. Community joke fest. Who’s going to outbid who? It’s addicting, fun and genuinely a joyful thing to be a part of! Watching a group of people come together to support such an amazing program brings our heart happiness every single year.

Thanks to Bella Martens for producing such an amazing steer this year! And huge shout out to Nechako Concrete for going in on it with us!
If anyone is looking for a beauty side of beef, we will have one available in about 3 weeks!! 🥩
