**** Need some help ****

We have some escaped cattle we are trying to track down. The are in the concessions south and north of Laggan Glenelg Rd between Kirkhill and Spring Creek (the bridge crossing the branch of the Rigaud). They may have moved beyond this by now. The OPP have been notified.

What we need help with is locating someone with a drone preferably with thermal capabilities. We had someone but they had to go to a conference and aren’t back till tomorrow. It helped us locate a couple.

If you see them please send us a text and a PIN 📌 of their location to (289) 680-8684 or (613) 363-7125. Please do not chase them. We will come as quick as possible to gather them up.

You may recognize these guys from their time grazing between the rows at Meadowlark Rise Farm earlier this summer. 🐂🌱

That was the beginning of a growing collaboration with Kirkview Farms , and now we’re bringing it to the farmers’ market. Starting soon, you’ll find Kirkview Farms and Meadowlark Rise Farm side by side, with their locally raised meat alongside our seasonal produce.

It’s now hanging to cure (in more than one corner of the farm!).

Fresh garlic is available now, with cured garlic coming in 3-6 weeks!

We’re a little late to the party this year, but our veggie season is finally underway — and we’re kicking it off with a Farm Bundle! 🌱

Every bundle you buy means the world to us — it’s not just produce, it’s a little piece of what we’re building here. We’re doing this the regenerative way: caring for the soil, the animals, and the land so it all thrives together. And… the rain arrived 🌧️

The last stretch has been a race to get seeds in the ground and transplants planted before the skies opened up. Now, with the fields finally getting some rain, there’s a moment to pause (at least briefly) and hope all those tiny beginnings are settling in.

The summer solstice is somehow right around the corner, and the farm is shifting gears fast.

The bulls from are here and happily munching away through the tree rows, turning grazing into partnership the way animals do best 🐄🌿

Meanwhile, Justin has been doing the lion’s share of planting as the season barrels ahead at full speed.
