You can always come visit us at the Garland Sugar Shack in Vars or come see us at the Orleans Farmer's Market on Thursdays, the Main Farmer's Market and/or the Westboro Farmer's Market on Saturdays, and the Ottawa Farmer's Market or Riverside South Farmer's Market on Sundays. Our maple syrup production, consisting of over 4,000 taps and expanding, all started like most producers with a few hundred

taps with buckets and boiling on a box stove. Our family operation now consists of a 4'x16' wood-fired evaporator with sap collected from 3 different bushes of a mix of soft and hard maples with the help of a pipeline and vacuum pump. As a compliment to the production of maple syrup, we've added transformation of our liquid gold to make these lip-smacking products: Maple butter, maple candies, maple jelly, maple sugar, maple tarts, maple cones, maple popcorn and maple cotton candy.

👑 A Royal Visit to Remember! 🍁

What an unforgettable day at the Royal Visit Farmers’ Market! We were honoured to welcome Their Majesties, King Charles III and Queen Camilla, to our Garland Sugar Shack booth at Lansdowne Park.

Not only did they stop by, they both shook hands with Sarah and Roxanne and shared a kind word or two while admiring our maple products. A moment we’ll never forget!

Thank you to everyone who came out, supported local, and made the day so special. We’re proud to represent a small family-run sugar shack on such a big stage.
