Last week, Consulting North America was proud to join The Buildings Show 2025 in Toronto – North America’s premier event for the built environment and a must-attend gathering for design, architecture, construction, and real estate professionals.

One highlight was the panel SS108 Engineering Roundtable: Challenges, Trends, and Outlook for the Future, offering fascinating insights into the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in engineering and AI 🤖.

I had the pleasure of attending the 7th Edition of the Heritage Calabria Gala.

Congratulations tonthe Bakrd of Heritage Calabria and to the President and dear frind of mine Luciano Schipano for another outstanding event and for the incredible work he continues to do for our community. Wishing him continued success.

It was also an honour to be among distinguished leaders such as MPP Francesco Sorbara, Steven Del Duca (Mayor of Vaughan), Minister of Energy and Mines Stephen Lecce, and Francesca La Marca, Senatrice della Repubblica Italiana – Ripartizione Nord e Centro America.

I was proud to attend as a representative of CIBPA Toronto, and our table was filled with new members and guests eager to connect and build stronger ties within our community.

Looking forward to continuing this important work of bringing people together and strengthening the Italian–Canadian community.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting with the team from the Ministry of Infrastructure Ontario, including Mason Dipierdomenico , Brian Hao , and Adam Cotter , from the office of Minister Kinga Surma, MPP .

We discussed innovation in infrastructure monitoring and the work of Nplus S.r.l. , a global leader in structural health monitoring. Nplus currently monitors over 900 bridges in Italy and operates through an international network of branches. Our goal is to bring greater awareness of this advanced technology to the Toronto and Ontario market.

While this technology is not yet mandatory in Canada, I believe the future will demand it, for the simple reasons of safe money, safe life, and ensuring infrastructure safety. By making these solutions appealing and accessible in the Canadian market, we can help build momentum toward adoption.

With real-time monitoring and intelligent sensors, this technology can help prevent catastrophes, protect lives, and ensure safer infrastructure, while also saving taxpayer money in the long term by improving inspection accuracy and reducing unexpected failures.

Thank you to the Ministry team for the warm welcome and for the opportunity to share how these solutions can support Ontario’s growing infrastructure needs. I look forward to continuing the conversation and building future collaboration.

I had the pleasure of attending the National Congress of Italian-Canadians event on behalf of .
A truly remarkable evening — the room was full of distinguished guests, leaders, and professionals who continue to elevate and support our Italian-Canadian community.

It was an honour to witness the recognition of several outstanding individuals who have made meaningful contributions to our community and to Canada as a whole.

I had the opportunity to connect with
Sam Ciccolini, Head of Master Insurance,
Tina Gonzales, President of Women of CIBPA,
and later with Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow.
