Sitting in a cafe in Paris enjoying a tea and a croissant and this came up…

A good reminder…

While in Paris, I am staying in a gorgeous hotel, Hôtel Dame des Arts!

As I sit downstairs tonight waiting for Uber Eats to arrive, I can’t help but wonder if they knew I was coming.

Art in Honfleur, France…

Taking a pause from the garden this week to visit France!

Today’s stop, the Jardins d'Étretat!

“The Jardins d'Étretat (Etretat Gardens) is a neo-futuristic cliff-top garden in Normandy, France, that blends sculpted plants, landscape architecture, and contemporary art.”

Hands down, my favourite part is the Garden of Emotions.

Happy Thanksgiving!!! 💐

So, I got asked, “What will you do all winter now that the flowers are finished?”

Believe it or not things seem to be getting busier day by day…

This week I spent a little time outdoors cutting flowers to dry…

Yes, in the dark, in the rain!

Pretty lucky to have a husband with all the tools…

Amaranth - Hot Biscuits

This is a new one for me this year purchased from Circle Farms…

The seed package only contained 50 seeds, but it produced a bumper crop…

Description taken from the Circle Farms page:

“Amaranthus - Hot Biscuits showcases tall, dramatic spikes of warm, cinnamon-orange blooms that add height and texture to garden beds and bouquets.

This unique variety is perfect for creating striking, architectural interest in both fresh and dried arrangements in warm and fall colour palettes.”

I had a bumpy relationship with this one at the first of the growing season, but now I give it a solid 10 as it still looks pristine despite all the weather events it handled over the last couple of weeks…
