It's Saturday morning, don't forget to come get your veggies at the farm gate. We will be there from 9am to 12pm with a great selection of produce.

This week our amazing team planted our melon and cantaloupe crop, and we have begun direct seeding our squash and pumpkins! August is going to be sweet around here!

We have been busy changing as much irrigation as possible to high efficiency drip line as well. This will allow us to conserve as much water as possible to help everyone get through the current water restrictions.

Come on a greenhouse tour! Our 9 greenhouses are now full of summer/ fall crops. In our houses this summer we have 1000 tomato plants (~25 different types!), 150 cucumbers, 350 pepper plants, 100 eggplants, 300 ginger plants, 200 sweet potatoes, 600 rowfeet of beans, 100 zucchini plants, 600 basil plant, 200 kale plants, 2000 bedfeet of carrots, and a few novelty items here and there. Excuse the mess of the last house 😂! It's just about finished it's spring crops and will be cleared out soon for early fall production.

We will be at the tomorrow morning with a full van of delicious veggies. Come early for the best choice! 8am to 1pm at Kal Tire Place.

Tomorrow morning is our Saturday morning farm stand! We will be at the gate with a large selection of veggies and salads from 9am to 12pm. Come find us at 6311 Silver Star Road and fill your fridge with delicious local produce!

Good news! We will be increasing your access to our delicious veggies! Our Saturday morning Farm Stand is back, starting this Saturday, May 23rd from 9am to 12pm! We will also be at the farmers market this Thursday at the from 8am to 1pm.

Some bad news - no, we don't have carrots yet, but they're coming soon. The picture is from last year!

In other news, we said goodbye to our half acre of green manure today. It was mowed and incorporated into the soil to nourish the next crops - melons, summer carrots and beets and more!

We had our first harvest today and we can't wait to share it with you. First come, first served!

I guess there's no hiding this any more! We are constructing a farm building to serve you much much better!!!

Our new sea-can build will house a new wash and pack station, coolers and a new customer pick up point. We will be working in comfort!

What does this mean for you? Lots of changes are coming. This year we will be extending our pick up times to a four hour window. Box customers and online orders can pick up from 2pm on their day of choice, and we will remain open until 6pm. No more veggies out in the heat at the farm gate - it will be waiting for you in a cooler in the building!

What else should we do with this space? We would love to hear from you! Stay tuned for more news about this in the coming weeks. 🌱🌱🌱
