May kept bringing me back to one thought, over and over again.

Trauma doesn’t define us. And what feels like an ending? It can become a beginning. That’s almost impossible to hold onto when you’re in the thick of it. When moving forward feels unimaginable, and joy feels like something that belonged to a different version of you.

And then, somehow, there you are.

It starts with a choice. Not a grand one — just the small, stubborn decision to try. Your attitude, your mindset. That’s where it begins. And what started, for me, with something hard, slowly cracked open into something else. It became reaching for help. And then, almost without realizing it, it became wanting to help others too.

We are so lucky to be in Vernon. There are so many incredible practitioners here — people who will walk alongside you while you find your footing, while you heal. Shout out to:marigold.way

So here’s what I keep coming back to: you have every right to be happy. To enjoy your life. Make the conscious choice, and then go live it.
