A good selection of natural predators is the sign of a healthy ecosystem. These fox snakes have become quite common on the farm. A good example of how bluffing and a good offence is sometimes the best defence. Harmless, they pretend to be a rattlesnake by shaking their tail and striking with a closed mouth.

Our bees pollinating honey crisp. Apple trees can’t produce fruit without a pollinating partner. Bees do the work of exchanging the pollen between partner trees.
