We've got ourselves a fancy new window display here at Vintage, celebrating all things **r, and to celebrate, we're getting into spooky season early with their Crooked Tooth Nitro Pumpkin Ale for today's tasting.

It's big, it's pumpkin, and it's a yearly staple. Come give some a try if you're not familiar -- we'll have it open for sampling today from 3 - 6 PM.

One final tasting rounds the month out for us, this one featuring things more appropriate to the Autumnal season - Naughty Hildegard, Driftwood's take on an ESB, and their seasonal Twenty Pounder Double IPA.

And to round out September's w**e tastings, we've got again, with their Terrasses Rouge and Terrasses Blanc on offer.

These w**es offer a fantastic value - classic Rhone quality at a reasonable price, with the Red being full-bodied, fruit-forward, and pleasantly spiced, and the white being uber-refreshing and moreish.

If you're going to attend any of our tastings this month, we'd suggest this one. 3 - 6 PM today, we'll save you a sample.

We're featuring again this weekend, with their classic White Bark witbier and local favourite Arcus Pilsner.

White Bark is basically the wit anyone would associate Victoria with, and to me, reader, it tastes like sitting on a patio in summer.

Arcus is a silky-smooth Pilsner, not as crisp as some others, but for those who like it, they love it, and it has quite a cult following.

Come give 'em a go today, 3 - 6 PM. We'll have a sample waiting for you.

For this week's Friday tasting we've got two more w**es from **es, a Grenache and a Cinsault, each of which are affordable and crowd-pleasing.

The Grenache is on the spicy/fruity side, and very drinkable, whereas the Cinsault has a bit more of a soft, floral edge, still fruit-forward but with the spice playing more of a a supporting role.

But don't take our word for it - come try, from 3 - 6 PM. We'll save you a sample.

We hope you'll join us today for a tasting of w**es from in Ventoux, where we're featuring their Quintessence Rouge and Rosé from 3 - 6 PM.

The Quintessence is just what it says - the quintessential red blend from the region, full-bodied, spiced, with great structure and grippy tannins. And the Rosé is the very fresh, fruit-forward sort with decent acidity to balance things out.

But don't trust our write-up - try for yourself. We'll keep a sample waiting for you.

We're pouring b**rs from 's illustrious lineup all month long, and today we begin with IPAs.

You've had Fat Tug, I've had Fat Tug, the average person on the street you've never met has had Fat Tug, but in my eyes, reader, Raised by Wolves is the superior IPA: Not quite so abrasive, not jamming hops down my throat, and a delightful crisp moreishness to it that makes you want another sip.

But don't take my word for it, pop by and try today from 3 - 6 PM.

And if IPAs aren't your thing, don't worry! More Driftwood b**rs will be poured next week, and in a completely different style.
