🏔️ New Release Tuesday - What The Land Gives Fresh Hop Island IPA w/ Whistle Buoy Brewing ⛰️

What the Land Gives is exactly that. Field Five Farm Ltd. malt lays the foundation, while Maplebayhops’s fresh hops, picked at peak ripeness and rushed straight to the kettle, do what only fresh hops can. Bright, vibrant, and alive in a way no pellet can replicate.

Four years in, the Small Buoys x Whistle Gods partnership keeps getting better. Whistle Buoy isn’t just a collaborator; they’re family. Same crew, same Island, same annual ritual of making something worth talking about.

Backyard Fresh Hop IPA is available today

All of the ingredients are grown on southern Vancouver Island. This seasonal classic has become a staple in our lineup as it presents an opportunity to express the terroir of our backyard. Centennial hops picked fresh from Maple Bay Hop Farm, Pilsner malt grown and malted at Field 5 Farm in Saanichton, Fresh water from the Sooke Lake Reservoir.

We sure are lucky to call this place home.

Fall menu updates are live starting today.

We’re now featuring the Four Quarters Bratwurst Semmel with house made kraut, Dijon, tomato jam, and crispy onions.

The Grub kitchen is open noon-8, Wednesday to Sunday.

Attend: The South Island Powwow is hosted by the Songhees nation, a free event that all are welcome to attend and observe respectfully. The powwow is currently underway at the Royal Athletic Park, with a Grand Entry happening at noon.
