🐔 Farm Update 🐔

Hey everyone! Just a quick heads-up from the coop — our chickens have slowed down on laying eggs lately, so we’re currently sold out and don’t have any eggs available for sale.

This can happen from time to time with changes in weather, daylight, and the hens taking a little break. We’re giving them the care they need and letting them do their thing 🐓💛

We’ll be sure to let you know as soon as the egg baskets start filling up again!

🌾 Farm Update: What’s Going On Around Here? 🚜

If you’ve ever wondered what’s happening on the farm lately… the answer is a little bit of everything and a whole lot of chaos 😄

The kids have been busy “helping” (and by helping, we mean chasing each other, feeding animals… and occasionally doing chores 😂). The animals are loving the fresh air, even if they think feeding time should be every 10 minutes.

Mud season is still hanging on, so boots are basically glued to our feet at this point. You haven’t really lived the farm life until you’ve lost a boot in the mud!

We’ve been getting things ready for the warmer days ahead — fixing, cleaning, planning, and dreaming big for the season to come 🌱

Around here it’s not always pretty, it’s not always easy… but it’s always worth it. ❤️

Around here, the Easter Bunny doesn’t just hide eggs… he’s dodging muddy boots, curious chickens, and kids on a full sugar rush 😅🥚

Breaking news from the farm… 🚨🐿️

The bird feeder has officially been taken over. Again.

This little guy showed up bright and early, filled his cheeks like he’s stocking up for winter #12, and now just sits there judging us like we’re the ones interrupting his breakfast.

At this point, we don’t even own a bird feeder… we just run a squirrel buffet. 😂

If you’re wondering what spring looks like on the farm… here it is 😅

Not green grass.
Not sunshine.
Just pure, boot-stealing, tractor-spinning MUD.

Every step’s a workout, every chore takes twice as long—but somehow, we still wouldn’t trade it.

Because this mess? It means things are waking up, growing, and getting ready for a busy season ahead.

Farm life isn’t always pretty… but it’s always worth it. 🌾🐄

Well look who showed up for the morning farm meeting… 🐿️❄️

This little guy has been sitting on the deck keeping an eye on everything like he owns the place. Probably checking if the bird feeder refills are on schedule or waiting for someone to drop a snack.

With the snow piled up and the cold sticking around, even the wildlife is hanging close to the farmyard these days.

Safe to say he’s officially been promoted to Assistant Feed Inspector.

Ten of the darkest weeks.
Short days. Long nights. Heavy weather—outside and in.
And still… you’re here.

From November’s deep chill, through the winter solstice, all the way into late January—this stretch isn’t easy for anyone. If things felt slower, heavier, quieter than usual, there’s a reason for that.

So if no one’s told you lately:
You made it through the hardest part.
The light is already coming back. 🌅

Be gentle with yourself. Spring always follows.
