Well, we had an early morning again today, rolled into Winnipeg for the Blue Bombers Tailgate Barbeque Showdown at Princess Auto Stadium. We battled the wind all day; I wasn't really happy with my cook on chicken or ribs, but I squeaked out a 2nd in ribs and 2nd in chicken for Reserve Grand Champion, behind close friend and WFC teammate Kurt Carter from Brews and Que BBQ, who claimed Grand Champion. Congrats, buddy!

A huge THANK YOU to all the amazing teams, judges, sponsors, and BBQ lovers who came out for our competition! From mouthwatering food to great laughs, prizes, and community spirit, today was all about celebrating what we love most… BBQ!!!

We couldn’t have done it without YOU – the participants who brought the heat, the families who joined the fun, and everyone who helped make this event unforgettable.
