We are a little late to the party on this but we are officially on the homestretch of our spring busy season, and it is time to say thank you.

First off thank you to all of our bidders and buyers at this year’s Popular Bluff bull sale. Without your support this pipe dream wouldn’t be possible, and it continues to show our hard work keeps paying off year over year.

Thank you to Popular Bluff Stock Farm for once again inviting us to be apart of your sale. It was awesome to be closer to home, and build a strong customer base in these communities.

We look forward to spring finally showing up, and to see how next years crop turns out over the next coming months.

WGC Nikko Cuervo 83N
A bull that puts a lot of things together. Smooth shouldered, clean fronted, big foot. A calving ease bull that can get out and breed some younger females for you. Ranking in the top 15% for both calving ease and birthweight. He also ranks in the top 1% for milk so if you are looking to make some Charolais cross replacements this would be a great bull to do that with. He measured 37cm and passed with 86%.

WGC Nevada Cuervo 81N
When we made our way down to the Alberta Select bull show this winter, I did not even pack a show stick. I thought it was going to be a great way to get our name out and meet some other great Charolais breeders within the province. Lone and behold I was proven wrong. 81N was crowned the reserve champion junior bull and made it to the final four bull within the show. It was a great surprise and now as this bull become older, he just keeps getting better. Just a February 20th calf with an adjusted weaning weight of 912lbs and an adjusted yearling weight of 1478lbs. He backs it up on his EPD numbers as well, with a weaning weight EPD in the top 25% and a yearling weight in the top 25% as well. And he is quite as a kitten to boot. The whole package and one of the best bulls we have ever raised. He was 39cm and passed with 85%.

My old and true Reese cow has done it again giving us a bull calf that works in a lot of markets. An outcross to a lot of red genetics and a March 3rd calf that is working his way up and becoming better everyday. A bull that been keen on building muscle and strength throughout his body. A sleeper in my mind just because of his age. Throw him on any colour of cow and you are going to get a calf to be proud of.

WGC Nickelback 28N
A sire that needs no introduction in these neck of the woods. Nickelback in my opinion brings all the positive aspects that a Game Day calf should have. Big, stout, quiet, just an all-round bull that will bring your program up and build market setting steers come sale time. His dam is a Y cow, so you know there is a lot of longevity in these animals. He measured at 34cm and passed with 87%.

WGC Noble Nelly 15N
There is a lot of performance in this bull. If you are looking for an individual that can add pounds to your calf crop this would be the bull that I would recommend. He ranks in the top 10% for both weaning and yearling weight. He carries himself very well, big foot, big hip. Just an individual that bred to commercial cows should help you make some market topping steers in the fall. He is 34cm and passed with 87%.

WGC Nordic Wind 7N
A little bit of a throw back here. Wyoming Wind was born in 1994, over thirty years ago. I think this calf brings a lot of positives to the industry. Nordic is a big and stout with a lot of hair and a nice clean front end. He would be a very good calving ease option as well. He ranks in the top 10% for calving ease and the top 4% for birth weight. We also took him to the Alberta Select Bull show this past winter so he is halter broke. He has a 36cm scrotal and passed with 81%.

Well we are officially 12 days out from our bull sale and it is time to start showing off our offering.

WGC Noble Nigel 2N
Nigel is a house favourite around here. He has been dog quiet since day one. If you want a bull you can go up to and give a little love to this is your guy. A calving ease package he ranks in the top 10% for calving ease as well he ranks in the top 4% for birthweight. If you are an EPD person this bull carriers a lot of positives in that department. He is also homo polled. He has a 37cm scrotal and passed at 85%. This is Jenna’s favourite bull.
