Today a new highway sign went up šø
And honestly? Iām equal parts excited and slightly nauseous š because the flowers themselves arenāt new
I planted the first flower fields back in 2017 as a passion project. Something to connect me to the Ag world and feel beautiful growing next to farm life and motherhood and everything else we were building.
For years, itās mostly lived through word of mouth, family and friends, and Instagram.
So maybe this is a good time to share what weāre actually building out here at T & B
Itās not a polished tourist attraction.āØItās a real working farm.
Thereās hay and grain and mud and wind and equipment everywhere some days. The flowers exist right beside the rest of our life out here, kids, projects, long days, muddy boots, and all.
The flower fields and little farm store are meant to feel simple, welcoming, and connected to the land. A little more ācome wander around for a bitā and less āperfectly curated experience.ā
Weāre building it slowly and honestly
One season at a time
Our hope is that people come here to reconnect a little:āØTo slower mornings
To prairie roadsāØTo dirt under their nailsāØTo the kind of places that still feel human.
Some days thereāll be lots to seeāØSome days itāll just be windy and farmy š
But thatās kind of the point
This sign going up feels like the moment itās slowly becoming something more
Not more polished
Not less personalāØJust more rooted and intentional. More ready to be shared
And honestly, that feels both exciting and wildly vulnerable.
So thank you for being here while this little prairie dream keeps growing, and for romanticizing the dirt roads with me along the way
Iāll keep sharing hours, flower updates, and days weāre open as the season unfolds. Farm life can be a little weather-dependent, so social channels will be the best place to check before making the drive š¤
