Sosnicki Organics Our philosophy is that farming practices should leave the soil, water, air, people and animals healthier and happier.

Sosnicki Organics is a small family farm growing on 90 acres of sandy loam soil in Norfolk County. A lot of emphasis recently on building and maintaining soil health. Approximately 30 acres each year is used for veggie production and the rest are in grains and cover crops. Growing around 30 different crops with well over 100 varieties of veggies annually, we are known for our exceptional Heirloom

Tomatoes, Roma's for Sauce, Sweet Corn, Storage Cabbage and Strawberries that we truly do not spray with anything! Certified for organic integrity through Pro Cert Organic Systems Ltd since 2004.

Daily fresh harvests of succulent strawberries PROUDLY , fresh green onions, Swiss chard, kale, heads of Romaine, salad mix, kohlrabi too! All 8 items our own - farm grown! Our field spinach was not the best quality therefore we subbed it out completely and gave added a full pound of Asparagus! Thank you for helping us always, always keep it organic!

Low tunnels are coming off some crops now! Romaine, kale, broccoli, zucchini and more are doing spectacular despite this cold spring. (The low tunnels act as a mini greenhouse and really help support growth with the power of the sun out there!) Most all other crops are bare ground - like our onion patch, peas, potatoes and so so much more! 🥦🧅
🍓Strawberries are not exactly excited given the crazy rains and cooler temperatures - but we are being optimistic! Come on heat! Give us some sweet berries!

Saturday 8am and for our cute fresh head lettuce, bok choi, Hakurei turnips, kohlrabi, asparagus, arugula and more! No filters, no ai, just pure Sosnicki’s! So market day tomorrow, Saturday morning and and it’s been quite the day prepping! New labels for our fiery root juice and sauerkraut 🤩 . Fiery sunrise this morning🔥 …..then few hours later snow dump! Welcome to March! We happily ignore it while Ben works on washing up storage crops like our winter radish, beets, potatoes and trims our cabbage. We’ve got some greens too from our unheated houses! Jessie happily ignores the snow and bakes. We’ve got our plain, jalapeno/cheddar, old cheddar and garlic sourdough breads and sourdough bagels for both markets tomorrow. A few chicken pot pies left ….and Perogies! Always perogies 🥟❤️
