We will be retiring from farming as of August 2024 and shutting down our farm gate sales. It has been a pleasure getting to know all of our customers. Thank you for your business. Until we sell our property, we will continue to homestead and keep this page active for our "Adventures in homesteading".

Today is the end of my daily posting experiment. Whew! As of tomorrow, I’ll just post items more occasionally. I’m drawing the conclusion that if you engage by commenting or liking posts from any page you follow, then you are more likely to see those posts showing up in your feed. Makes sense, I guess. Anyway, I’m spending the last day of August making tomato sauce. Clean and cut up the tomatoes, cook them with olive oil, garlic, basil, red pepper flakes, salt. Strain through food mill. Simmer sauce to thicken for desired consistency.
