Early mornings in the coop, collecting eggs together, and working side by side… that’s what makes this place special.

Ten years in, and somehow we’re still standing… mostly because quitting takes more energy than chores.

There have been early mornings, late nights, broken equipment at the worst possible time, weather that never listens, and more mud, manure, and “well… that didn’t go as planned” moments than we can count. Farming has tested us in ways we never expected.

But every hard season has been completely outdone by the joy, the laughter, and the people around us. The most incredible family, friends, and community who show up with helping hands, kind words, meals, encouragement, and unwavering support.

This life isn’t easy—but it’s ours. These last 10 years have been one hell of a ride.

Here’s to the next 10 years—more fun, more lessons, more laughs, and doing what we love with the people who make it all worth it.

Love moments like this!
Our self-serve egg stand runs on trust, and today we were reminded how amazing people truly are. One of our customers left a note and repayment because they were a little short last week — and honestly, that kind of honesty makes our day.

So grateful for this community and the good people in it. Thank you for supporting local and doing the right thing, even when no one’s watching.

We’re excited to introduce the two newest “puppies” on the farm — Kuma and Freya, our Ovcharka (Caucasian Shepherd) sisters. At just 7 months old, they’re already fitting in like they’ve always been part of the family.

In the short time they had with Rose, they learned so much from her — calm confidence, awareness, and how to simply be a guardian. We’re grateful she was able to pass on a bit of her wisdom before we had to say goodbye.

Kuma and Freya have a very natural instinct to protect, but what really stands out is how different and amazing their personalities already are. One more watchful, one more curious — both incredibly sweet and already stepping up to help Sam keep our sheep, chickens, and family safe.

Big hearts, big paws, and a future full of purpose.

Today we had to say goodbye to Rose. She was diagnosed with bone cancer just over 2 weeks ago, and as hard as it was, we had to make the call to end her suffering. This is the second time we’ve dealt with cancer in one of our dogs, and it really doesn’t get any easier.

We’re all pretty heartbroken right now, and Sam is definitely feeling the loss too. The one bit of light in all this is that we’ve recently welcomed Kuma and Freya — two 7-month-old Ovcharka (Caucasian Shepherd) pups — into our family. They’re already bringing some much-needed energy and comfort, and we’ll share more about them soon.

Thank you to everyone who’s kept us in their thoughts. Rose was a huge part of our lives, and we’re going to miss her so much. 💔🌹

Egg Price Update – July 20th

Hi friends,

We wanted to share a quick but important update. Starting TODAY Sunday , July 20th, the price of our eggs will be $8 per dozen.

We’ve held off as long as we could, but we continue to see various costs rise. This change is necessary to help us keep doing what we do — caring for our chickens the right way and bringing you fresh, local eggs.

We know every dollar counts, and we don’t take this lightly. Your continued support means the world to us. Every carton you buy helps keep our small farm going and our hens happy.
