To think that on August 11, 2015, we had to make one of the hardest decisions any family could ever be faced with.
We spoke with doctors and specialists, and we knew Matt wasnโt able to come home.
We granted his wishes to be an organ donor, and through that decision, he helped over 12 families have more time to cherish their loved ones. โค๏ธ
Then we did something that, even today, still seems so out of this world.
Muskoka Brewing allowed us to come together and brew Mattโs cherished beer recipe.
Iโd love to say that friends and family came together on two separate days โ one to brew and then again a few weeks later to package it โ but really, at that point, there was no difference between friends and family.
Everyone became family that day.
And now here we are.
August 11, 2026.
Eleven years later.
Weโve had our own brewery open since 2018, and what started from one of the hardest moments of our lives became something that has allowed us to keep a piece of Matt with us every single day.
Thank you to every one of our customers who has supported us along the way. Even today, when someone walks through our doors and tells us they feel like family here, it means more than you probably realize.
Thank you for supporting our family.
Thank you for supporting our brewery.
And most importantly, thank you for supporting our dream of keeping Mattโs memory alive.
Today, raise one for Matt. ๐บ
Remember him as โThe Beer Man 89.โ

Never forgotten. Always part of the family.
