Bluegroves Farms We are a Certified Organic Blueberry farm, locally owned and operated! Victoria and Mike look forward to continuing the traditions at Bluegroves Farms.

Our story began in 1983 when the Hatch's acquired a 62-acre farm in Eagle, Ontario with plans to grow the best local blueberries. The farm began with the planting of just a few acres with only three varieties and kept growing to its current thirteen-acres of seven different varieties of blueberry bushes. In late 2013, after a full season of working with the Hatches, the Pierinelli family; Gio and

Mariangela decided they would like to run the farm. Enthusiastically committing to improving the logistics of the farm in every aspect and securing its success for many generations to come. Fast forward, five-years, in 2018 the Pierinelli family passed the farm onto the Innes family. The Innes' jumped right into the blueberry farm life and continued the organic traditions and success of the farm. In 2021, after a very successful three-years with the Innes family running the farm, two local residents from St. Thomas, ON came across the farm for sale and decided to take the leap into organic blueberry farming.

This Mother’s Day feels a little different… but also really beautiful 🤍

If you've been following along, you know that Victoria's mom was very ill before she passed, and during that time before - life changed for both of them. We dreamed of creating a simple, accessible home together at the farm — a place filled with gardens, flowers, coffee on the porch, sunsets, family dinners, and fresh country air.

What started as a wild idea — a converted school portable and way too many Pinterest ideas — slowly became something so much bigger.

We took a leap of faith, and started building a new chapter here at the farm.

Although mom never got to see it started, let alone finished in person, she’s been part of every step, every decision, every late-night idea session and honestly… I think she’d be loving this adventure the most.

For a long time, We weren’t sure what this space was meant to become after losing her. But little by little, it will turn into something filled with purpose, happiness, healing, and excitement for what’s ahead.

So this Mother’s Day feels like the perfect time to finally share that something new is coming to Bluegroves Farms 🫐

A dream built from love, resilience, family… and maybe a little blueberry magic. A space for us to be open early, close late, space where blueberry's and local farm fresh are all under one roof.

We can’t wait to share more with you soon 🤍

The bushes are in " green tip" phase almost at the " bud break" or "bud burst" we like this to happen a little later, to avoid the frost but here it is, could it mean blueberries will be early? Maybe!

We really were hoping we wouldn't need to post this, but have decided to post as it is becoming increasingly concerning

We have been made aware of a fraudulent recruitment agency targeting people, specifically in Mexico, with fake job offers claiming to be from Bluegroves Farms

Please be advised of the following critical information:

• We hire Canadians only. Our organization does not currently recruit or hire offshore workers or participants of the Temporary Foreign Worker (TFW) program.

• A legitimate Canadian employer will never ask you to pay for a contract, visa, or "processing fees".DO NOT PAY ANY FEES

• NO internet-only offers. We do not send unsolicited job offers via WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram or email.

What we are doing:
We have officially reported this activity to the RCMP, Local Police, Service Canada, and Mexican Police.

Protect yourself:
If you are asked to pay money for a job with us, it is a scam. Do not send money, do not sign contracts, and do not share your personal information.

If you have been targeted, please report it to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.
