There’s something really special about getting to see the bond form between a cow and her calf. The care and instinct they have for their babies is so cool to see!

We thought it was time for a re-introduction for all of the new folks who have joined us recently so here is a bit about us - the farmer and the girl who helps occasionally but mostly just takes videos of everything… it really is a perfect team! 🤣🤍

We are Norwood Cattle Co., a cow-calf operation based in Westport, Ontario. We have a pure bred Charolais herd as well as a commercial herd! We are continuing to grow so stay tuned for what’s to come! Thank you for being here😊

“I don’t have any hobbies…”
Yeah, because this is our life. 🐮

Calving season = 1am alarm clocks, headlights in the pasture, and making sure every cow and calf is okay before the sun comes up and before the sun goes back down.

It’s not always pretty, but in our minds it is always worth it because this lifestyle is our passion and what makes us happy! 🤍

Okay guys! We have decided to name the commercial heifers since we will likely keep some back! The last one we named Poppy and she is doing well!

This little heifer was born early (and unexpectedly) yesterday! We are bottle feeding her while her mama gets more milk available for her to nurse! What are your favourite girl names that start with a “P” for this little one??
