If you are looking to improve milking ability in your heifers, we have the bull for you. 16 bulls in the Gelbvieh Advantage Bull Sale have a milk EPD that is over 23 and 11 of those bulls rank in the top 15% of the Gelbvieh breed! If you also want to improve performance in your offspring, we can help you with that. Over half of the bulls in the sale have a YW EPD that is in the top 15% of the breed! 🔶Gelbvieh Member Connection - Brittain Farms🔶
In 1992 Kelly & Colleen Brittain were looking for a quiet breed for their two children, Gary and Nicole, to show in 4H. They went to Farmfair and walked through all of the breeds and talked to many of the breeders. They liked the composition and disposition of the Gelbvieh breed and purchased their first Gelbvieh bull-WGG Windy Sandman from the Winders.

Collen said "We love the disposition of the Gelbvieh breed and we really appreciate the maternal qualities of the breed."

In 2023, together with BNH Livestock, Brittain Farms bought BNC National K2129 from the Hojer Ranch in South Dakota. They have two years of progeny from National on both farms and have been very impressed and are excited about the future of these animals. Their growth and milk numbers are at the top of the breed and they are consistently the deepest and thickest in the pens! Keep an eye out for their National K2129 sired bulls in the 2026 Gelbvieh Advantage Bull Sale.

We had a great weekend visiting everyone at the Wishlist sale this last weekend. We would like to thank Olivia and Chad Koziak Land & Cattle for purchasing CK Nakeeta 90N and Roger Sayer of Foursquare Farms for purchasing CK Nala 54N. We are so excited to see what these two heifers can do in your programs and are so thankful for your support!
