Now in store! WH**KY GAP 1924 REVOLUTION RYE
THE SPIRIT OF ALBERTA In 1924, as Prohibition came to an end in Alberta, Wh**ky Gap stood as a symbol of resilience during a significantly turbulent era. This region, once a hub for bootlegging, marked the close of a key chapter in the province’s history. That year, the Vandervalk family began cultivating the lands south of Fort Macleod, establishing roots for four generations. Their efforts reflected the determination of those who shaped the southern Albertan landscape, forging a lasting connection to the region’ s legendary and historic past.
TASTING NOTES Rich and complex, 1924 Revolution Rye opens with warm aromas of toasted oak, vanilla, and baking spice. On the palate, bold notes of caramelized sugar and dark fruits mingle with hints of black pepper and an earthy rye spice, leading to a smooth, lingering finish with subtle smokiness and a touch of honeyed sweetness
