We're extending our hours, and offering BRUNCH! Starting this Saturday (10.15) you can come in from 10A-5P for offsales, baked goods, and BRUNCH! We're bringing back the breakfast sausage corndog (topped with bacon and kewpie) and cooking up crepes with bacon and maple syrup (or lemon and sugar) as well as schnitzel and eggs, and Daddy's donut breakfast sandwiches. As anyone who has experienced a robbery can attest, it’s a violating, demoralizing experience. But before I even had a chance to panic, the support started pouring in, and it’s truly been staggering.

This evening we celebrated the unveiling of the Hall of Innovators installation. Designed by local artist, Mark preston, and built right here at Yukonstruct by John Quinsey. The installation is inspired by a traditional Longhouse with beams and house posts meant to hold up the community within Yukonstruct, and feast dishes with the names of the award recipients inscribed on tinas, line the wall.
In addition to recognizing the important work of Yukon’s innovators, the beautiful installation adds warmth and depth to the space. We feel grateful and honoured to have such talented people working with us.
Though our event to honour the art, and innovators who inspired it, couldn’t look quite the way we had hoped, we did get to share the special event with some key people, without whom the Hall of Innovators would not exist Yukon Provisons, Ride for Dad Yukon, ColdAcre Food Systems, Solvest Inc.
The event opened with prayers from Yukon Elder Phil Gatensby, followed by speeches by Ranj Pillai, MLA for Porter Creek South, Larry Bagnell, Mayor Dan Curtis, and artist Mark preston.
Thank you to everyone who makes our community a brighter place.
