Like an unlikely union between Félix Leclerc and Dolly Parton, Brigitte Jardin creates a distinctive musical landscape where French-language songwriting meets the timeless twang of 1960s country.

Usually found telling her stories from behind the drum kit, Brigitte picks up the guitar for this special intimate show, offering a more stripped-down and personal setting for her music. A seasoned percussionist and songwriter, she draws from a life lived between Quebec and the Yukon—two landscapes, two worlds, and, somehow, a little bit of both wherever she goes.

Out of the ashes arose a band. Chimney Fire was formed in 2017 by local Whitehorse musicians Jon Heaton (Guitar, Vocals), Dave White (Bass), and Mark Nelson (Drums). They played local venues but something was missing. Katie Hunter (Keyboards) joined the band and the fire got out of control. When they aren’t jamming, they are sitting in Jon’s basement watching the Oilers blow another season. Dave doesn’t care, he’s a Leafs fan. If you don’t have a Stanley Cup, you might as well have the blues.

Tiny Brewery Concerts presents: Veronica Raine with music championed by SiriusXM, CBC, and more than 80 radio features in the last year, alongside worldwide blog coverage, the Southern Alberta indie folk artist is building a reputation for fearless songwriting and a connective live performance.
Blending emotionally honest lyricism with melodies that linger long after the final note, Veronica’s music explores the complexities of love, loss, healing, and the moments that shape who we become. Her ability to transform deeply personal experiences into songs that feel universally relatable has made her a compelling voice in Western Canada’s emerging indie folk scene.
In 2026, Veronica marks new milestones with performances at the Winnipeg Folk Festival, Tongue on the Post Music Festival, and East Town Get Down Music Festival. She has shared the stage with acclaimed Canadian artists Mallory Chipman, JJ Shiplett, John Hewitt, and Amy Bishop, earned a spot on the Canadian Indie Country Countdown with her debut single, August, and continues to bring her music to audiences across Alberta and as far north as Whitehorse, Yukon.
Whether performing in an intimate listening room or on a festival stage, Veronica brings a rare combination of vulnerability and conviction—creating the kind of performances that leave audiences feeling like they haven’t just heard a song, but lived one.
